RUT241, RUT951, RUT956 CERTIFIED IN NORTH AMERICA（日本語）

Ensuring that our products are available in as many regions as possible is always a top priority for Teltonika Networks. This helps get our devices into more hands around the globe and lets them shine in more innovative IoT solutions. This article announces the most recent product certifications in North America, including a brand-new certification for our catalog: FirstNet.

Teltonika Networks is excited to announce that our RUT241, RUT951, and RUT956 industrial cellular routers have recently received a new batch of certifications in North America. Specifically, all three devices received certifications from the following six entities:

// Verizon;

// AT&T;

// T-Mobile;

// the PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB);

// the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC); and

// Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).

Thanks to these certifications, RUT241, RUT951, and RUT956 devices are now available for American and Canadian clients for implementation in their IoT solutions. We are confident that this opens up new possibilities in the local market, and are looking forward to seeing them in action.

But that’s not all – there is one more certification we’re extra happy to announce: RUT956 is now approved by AT&T for use in the First Responder Network (FirstNet).

In case you aren’t familiar, FirstNet is an independent authority within the U.S. National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). Its purpose is to establish, operate, and maintain an interoperable public safety broadband network. in other words – to provide and ensure connectivity for first responders, disaster response, and emergencies.

According to Teltonika Networks Sales Director in North America, Vytenis Petkus, the FirstNet certification of RUT956 is a big step forward: “No other devices in our portfolio was certified for FirstNet until today. RUT956 is opening the doors for an entirely new market for Teltonika Networks North America, and we’re confident about what RUT956 brings to the table.”

Vytenis also gave a sneak peek for the future: “Later this summer, another new market will be opened up to us via a RUT956 certification. I cannot share more details at the moment, but it certainly goes hand in hand with FirstNet.”
