Introducing the new Data Sender status page
RutOS 7.25 introduces a Data to Server status page, providing a visual overview of the entire data flow, from inputs and collections to the destination server.
Instead of checking individual parts of the configuration separately, the complete flow appears as an automatically refreshing live diagram. You can monitor transmitted bytes, spot errors as they occur, inspect the last sent payload, and trigger data transmission on demand. Clear visibility across the entire transmission chain helps you monitor data activity at a glance and resolve potential issues faster.

Streamlined Wi-Fi connection setup in WebUI

Connecting a device to a wireless network is more straightforward with an improved configuration flow in WebUI. By refining the setup steps into a clearer sequence, the updated interface reduces setup effort, minimizes manual configuration errors, and delivers a smoother onboarding experience when establishing Wi-Fi connectivity.

Custom firmware builds with a simplified SDK
RutOS 7.25 expands custom software development capabilities with a simplified SDK tailored for RUTM-series routers and TAP-series access points.
Designed as a lightweight, minimal system baseline, the updated SDK significantly accelerates firmware compilation and build times. Batch Bluetooth pairing for faster sensor deployment

Managing larger groups of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors becomes much easier with Bluetooth Auto Pair. Instead of manually adding every sensor by its full MAC address, administrators can define a target MAC address prefix. Any matching BLE sensor that comes within range pairs automatically, eliminating repetitive manual setup, speeding up commissioning, and making it effortless to scale sensor fleets.
Expanded QoS traffic management with WFQ
Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities now include support for Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ), a traffic management mechanism widely used in Cisco-based network environments.

Broader remote management visibility with enhanced TR-069 data

RutOS 7.25 adds support for Device.IP.Interface and Device.Firewall data alongside a custom Device.VLAN object. Native Zabbix monitoring integration via Package Manager

The 1.96.5 release line refines Linux firewall traffic handling to prevent reverse path filtering from dropping valid connections while improving UPnP behavior during extended port-mapping sessions. Deployments relying on Tailscale gain smoother cross-location connectivity and dependable remote access across distributed device fleets.
