New PTCRB, FirstNet, and Carrier certifications for our 5G devices in North America

Teltonika continues to expand the availability of our products across North America, ensuring they reach a wider audience and meet the technical requirements of leading regional operators.  

Three of our devices have now received major new certifications: the RUTM52 is approved by both PTCRB and AT&T, the RUTM54 has earned FirstNet certification, and the TRB247 is officially certified by Verizon and T-Mobile. These advancements significantly strengthen the reliability, compliance, and deployment flexibility of our portfolio in mission-critical and industrial IoT applications.  

RUTM52 Achieves PTCRB and AT&T Certifications for Reliable US & Canadian IoT Connectivity 

The RUTM52 secured PTCRB certification, confirming it meets the industry standards required for consistent operation across major U.S. and Canadian networks. Additionally, AT&T certification ensures full compatibility with AT&T’s infrastructure, thereby enhancing the router’s interoperability for large-scale industrial IoT deployments.  

RUTM52 is engineered for high-demand scenarios, featuring dual 5G modems, multi-WAN capabilities, LTE Cat 20 fallback, load balancing, Wi-Fi 5, and five Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide robust and resilient connectivity for mission-critical applications.  

RUTM54 FirstNet Certification Enables Reliable Connectivity for First Responders 

The RUTM54 has taken an important step forward by receiving FirstNet certification, making it suitable for deployment on the United States’ dedicated public safety broadband network built by AT&T. For anyone wondering what FirstNet is, it’s a nationwide platform that ensures first responders receive prioritized, reliable communication during emergencies. 

Equipped with dual SIM, eSIM, and a global Telit 5G modem, the RUTM54 delivers high-speed, reliable performance for data-intensive applications. With 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, auto-failover, and backward compatibility with 4G, it offers strong redundancy and long-term flexibility.   

T-Mobile and Verizon Certification Expand TRB247 Coverage for Industrial IoT Deployments 

The TRB247 IoT gateway has strengthened its North American presence by securing Verizon certified status alongside T-Mobile approval. These approvals confirm that the device meets each carrier’s technical and performance standards, enabling seamless operation across two of the largest wireless networks in the region.  

As a compact LTE Cat 1 bis gateway, TRB247 bridges legacy equipment with modern cloud platforms via its Gigabit Ethernet port, configurable I/O, and RS232/RS485 interfaces. With dual SIM, optional eSIM, failover, and native industrial protocol support, it provides strong reliability and full IIoT infrastructure compatibility – now with broader carrier validation.
