By mounting their parking enforcement solution on bicycles and automating license plate scanning, our partners replaced manual checks with a mobile, technology-driven workflow. At the heart of the parking enforcement solution is the Teltonika RUT951 industrial cellular router – the device that ties the entire mobile enforcement setup together. A license plate scanning camera connects to the RUT951 via Ethernet port and to the power bank via the power cable. Then, the router streams captured images to the enforcement officer's smartphone over a local Wi-Fi connection.
