If sensors are in range, router can receive data from them, as long as they are registerd/paired with router. Can one sensor connect to different routers when moving around in a bigger area with several routers? As long as sensor acts as a beacon, it can be registered to basically infinite number of devices at the same time, and all of them can receive it at the same time. Which ble sensors compatible with RUTX11? At the moment we support sensors and beacons, which we offer. If you need to connect different products, please contact your sales manager or fill out the Contact Us form. How is the position of bluecoin determined in a wharehouse? To track location precisely, you would need multiple routers, and then calculate/triangulate beacon position based on which routers can 'see' them. Sensor it sealf acts as a beacon, and transmits data constantly. Router in this case simply filters through available data stream and checks if the device transmiting is registered, if it is - data is registered, if device is not in the 'paired list' data is ignored. can the router be used as a bluetooth device scanner? At this moment no, but it can be done with custom development. Are Teltonika beacons compatible with identifiers as Eddystone Namespace and iBeacon UUID? Yes, the beacons can be configured to use as any of these three frame formats: Eddystone, iBeacon or ELA ID/MOV/T etc. If I install a temperature sensor inside a refrigerator, will this sensor still be able to communicate with the router? This wery much depends on refrigerator. In general any type of enclosure around sensor will reduce its range, how big that effect is depends on how good that enclosure is at blocking radio frequencies. Some industrial freezers might block connection overall, but most fridges in general will only reduce maximum range. Does the battery life cycle depend on whether the beacon is sending information to 1 or 100 devices? No, battery life directly depends on transmision frequency and power, because data is not sent to each device separately, but rather transmits it out, and intrested devices take same information, hence the term 'beacon'. Can you email the use case? Please contact your sales manager for the use case presentation, but most of the use cases demonstrated here can be found on our web Are there bluetooth antenna with more gain available as an option? You cannot add a third party device to the RMS platform itself. However, via various RMS functions you can control third party devices that are connected to Teltonika devices. Can I get this alarm on email or SMS from RMS? Most RMS alerts are sent via email. Only a couple of alerts can be sent via SMS that are sent from the device itself. Where do I see the remaining API calls? There is no live API requests count on the website, but you can use HTTP META headers like X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset to control and view the situation What is the RMS data traffic and bandwith needs on a monthly basis? RMS data usage depends on which data you wish to send to RMS and how often, since that part is customizable. By default, if nothing is changed, the usage is approximately ~3.50 MB download, ~8.50 MB upload per device per month. Can I install software such as Node-RED or AWS Greengrass on the Teltonika's device such as the RUTX11? These packages are supported, but have some hardware limitations. Is it possible to know which devices have alerts created? You can only select single registered device to check its existent alerts, creation of those though can be done to multiple registered devices I wanted to know, is it possible to install RMS as software on a virtual machine in our Cloud? And if so would there still be the question of Credits to monitor the Routers every month? Yes, there is a possibility for that, but for more information you should contact your sales manager. How many levels can you have in the hierarchy ? RMS has three level hierarchy (Tier1 -> Tier2 -> Tier3) Is it possible to create a user who is able to use only VPN Hub? This can be done by assigning a specific role for the user. To create a new role go to Users -> Roles -> Create new role. There you will be able to give only RMS VPN permissions. Do the RUT140 and RUT142 have an I/O output? They do not. What is the fundamental difference between the RUT140 and the RUT200? If we refer for example RUT955 as old and RUT956 as new, then yes - switching between RUT955 to RUT956 needs a new configuration on a new device. Will RUT241, RU951, RUT956 be using Quectel or Meig modules? There will be both module options. As the SD card is eliminated in RUT956, are there an alternate solution provided? Due to the different architecture compared with RUT955, the SD card option has to be removed from RUT956. If a device with an SD card is needed, you can choose RUT955. Does going from RUT240 to RUT241, from RUT955 to RUT956 and so on solve the existing global shoratage scenario in some way for chipsets and semiconductors? The main idea to introduce these new devices, basically was to avoid any disturbances in the supply chain and be able to provide our devices to the customers. Will there be eSIM versions of the RedCap router, similar to the RUT241 eSIM? And are you planning to support the SGP 3.x eSIM standard? Not at the moment. SGP.22 combined with RMS is almost equal to SGP.32. What is the minimum order quantity required for you to initiate production of an eSIM version? The power consumption is almost equal to 4G, but lower than that of 5G devices. What security protocols are supported by RedCap routers?
